Sam Knowles, born London, 1983.

Knowles graduated from Wimbledon College of Art in 2009. Selected exhibitions include:  Fearful Sphere, Simon Oldfield, 2011 (solo); Claremorris Open, Ireland, 2011; Bloomberg New Contemporaries, 2010; Beyond Ourselves at the Royal Society, London, 2010; Base Metal, Simon Oldfield, 2010; Future Map, London, 2009; thecentre:mk Annual Painting Prize, 2009.  Knowles’ won 1st Price at the Pienkow Residency in Poland and his work is held in collections in the UK, Europe and the USA.
