He co-founded Pindrop with author and broadcaster, Elizabeth Day; a much-loved art and literature organisation working with celebrated artists, writers and actors. He has sat on the judging panel for various awards including the British Book Awards, the Caitlin Art Prize, the Jerwood Drawing Prize and the Sunday Times Watercolour Competition, and written for Monocle, Harper's Bazaar and FT Weekend. Simon also compiled and edited two editions of A Short Affair (Scribner/RA), a book uniting art and literature with bestselling writers and leading artists.
